AI that works in your Microsoft environment. Beyond what comes out of the box.

I help Microsoft 365 organisations adopt the AI tools that actually fit their workflows. The platform is an implementation detail (LLMs, agents, n8n, Power Automate, even Copilot when it's the right answer) and the outcome is what matters. I know the Microsoft environment these tools have to run in, and I pick the right ones for the job, not just the ones Microsoft sells.

What I can help with

• Integrating Claude, ChatGPT or other LLMs into your M365 environment. Not a proof of concept that lives in a demo tenant. Production-grade, in your tenant, talking to your data.
• Unifying systems, making Microsoft and non-Microsoft tools work together instead of alongside each other. This tends to fall through the cracks because it needs someone who knows both sides well. I've worked deeply in M365 and in non-Microsoft AI tooling, so I can bridge that gap without the handoff problems.
• Building custom AI agents and automation on top of Graph, SharePoint, or Dataverse. If the out-of-the-box tooling doesn't do what you need, I'll build something that does.
• Architecture review of an AI initiative that isn't going well. Sometimes you need someone who wasn't involved in the original decisions to look at it fresh.
• Honest second opinions on Copilot. When it fits, when it doesn't, and what to use instead. I'm not a Microsoft partner and I don't earn referral fees, so the recommendation is whatever actually works.

How it works

If there's a fit, I'll send a written proposal with a clear scope, timeline, and fixed price. Most engagements start around £1,500. My day rate is £550.

I'm Josh Wickes. I work in Microsoft 365 architecture by day (SharePoint, Entra ID, Power Platform, the full stack). Outside of that, I build AI automation systems and write about what actually works at joshwickes.com.

I started this practice because I kept seeing the same gap: organisations that needed AI advice from someone who genuinely knows their Microsoft environment, not just the AI side or just the M365 side. I work across both, which means I can give you a straight answer on what fits and what doesn't.
